Cafe/Konditorei Remmers in Norden

Traditional but modernized cafe with great, very tasty homemade pies and cakes (large selection). Coffee (black) wasn't that good, I probably should have chosen Frisian tea. Milk coffee specialties but ok Waffles are brought from the ice cream parlor across the street. The service was very attentive and quick.

A very large and great selection of classic and unusual desserts and drinks. The price-performance ratio is completely okay. Friendly conditions and a great atmosphere. This café is definitely worth a visit!

The service was always friendly but they weren't really attentive. We had to wait a long time for the drinks. The rooms are nice and lovingly furnished.

Very good selection of cakes that we haven't found anywhere else. Nice service and a very individually furnished cafe! The prices are also not cheap and you can quickly get 10 € p.p. for cake and coffee. Come on!

Great old cafe with a very large selection of cakes. Always visited by us when we are in the north. We recommend!!!

Super nice café, delicious cakes and drinks. It has its own flair, very cute. Lots of seating. We liked it very much.

Delicious coffee and a huge cake counter. The plum cake was very good. You have to like the decor, I like it so "crowded" the books, which are on display, are very nice. Only the waitresses were a bit disoriented in the arrangements. You were alerted because you didn't know the table number (but you weren't at the table either ...)

Good morning, When we first discovered Café Remmers 7 years ago, we were so excited that we went there every year and even had our wedding coffee there in 2016. We came back every year after that and now we had to find out that it was probably the last time. After the expansion, with the ice cream parlor opposite and the massively expanded outside terrace, the staff is totally overwhelmed. However, it starts with the boss who left us standing for 10 minutes in front of the counter without serving us, although we made ourselves noticeable. He was so absorbed in making coffee that he couldn't see the rest of the room. Very bad for a restaurateur. When we went upstairs in the hope of being better served there, the disappointment was even greater. Half of the table was still the dishes from breakfast (it was 2:00 p.m.) and the guests' self-assessment was also there. So much for data protection. When we were there again two days later to love friends, the picture was no better. A completely overwhelmed boss, hectic service and poor service at the cake counter. The cake had broken through and was still put on the plate with the cheap hint: "Is there cheaper". When cleaning the neighboring table with glass cleaner, it was used so abundantly that my wife got a whole load in the face. There was no apology. That was probably the last visit for us. Pity!

Nice well-stocked pastry shop. There you can sit outside and enjoy your coffee with a piece of cake in peace. The prices are not too high. Good selection of cakes.

A very nice place to stay. The selection of cakes is sensational, the coffee delicious and something to discover in every corner. And on top of that, very friendly service people. We would love to come back.

Delicious - and you sit well, inside and outside. Very many and very nice staff, Corona measures are implemented in an exemplary manner. However, for me overall much too pink / too plush, and you are almost overwhelmed by an extremely large amount of decorative items to take with you - I don't actually go to the café to shop ...

The cafe is very nice and cozy. It is very nicely decorated. Above there are many more seats in three differently decorated areas. You can be among yourself undisturbed here. The chocolate, cappuccino and crossaints were very tasty and large portions and perfectly acceptable for the price. Thank you so much!

Food and drinks are very varied and delicious. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our orders and once the coffee was completely forgotten. If the organization of the service were better, I would give it 5 stars.

It's the best cafe we've ever been to. It is very tastefully decorated, with various cozy corners. The cake is delicious. Dear waitress. I can only recommend it.

The café is very cute and has very delicious cakes and pies. There is always a lot going on, you can also sit outside. If you want to spend a nice afternoon, you are in good hands here.

A really attractive place! We stopped here because they have several vegan soups, a lentil stew, and chilli sin carne (also vegan). It was supposed to come with bread but that wasn't vegan so we missed out on it, hence the 4/5 stars. Nice coffee and staff.

Great, super cute and cozy cafe. Here you can have breakfast, coffee and cake, snacks or something for lunch. The breakfast is rich and tasty. The staff is friendly. The toilets and everything else are very clean. There are also high chairs. There is an upper and lower floor.
